Good morning!!! We wanted to have a simple breakfast and the hotel staff recommended us to the nearby breakfast stall (also a stone throw away from our hotel).

After breakfast, we headed back to the hotel and we found our driver waiting for us.
The first stop he took us to 天长地久桥 - and it turns out to be 2 bridges - 天长 & 地久. Maybe because we saw the 天平桥 yesterday, these 2 bridges didn't seem very impressive to us.

And you need to climb the steps up to 天长桥。We didn't bother.

Then we went back to the car and headed up to FenCiHu 奋起湖 which I would say was one of the highlights of our trip (besides Alishan). It was named as such due to the shape of the place, and not because there is a lake for you to look out for.

Their donuts smell so so so good, even from afar. And maybe because you have to walk down a slope to get there. The queue was a little long so our very nice driver helped us to call and order and collect 30 mins later. So blessed right?!

And then we headed back to the car and was driven another 45 mins before we reached Alishan (but somehow the drive felt quite short).

After a fruitful walk (and we didn't cover all of the trails - so I would definitely love to come back), we started to head back. Even though it was just 3 plus but it was already starting to get dark.
One last stop to drink tea before we officially headed down.
We found the tea just okay so we didn't buy that many.

And from there, it took us almost an hour and a half to get to our hotel. The driver was nice to drop us off at the hotel first, where we can drop off all our shopping items, before driving us to the dinner place. This is so that when we head back from the dinner place we wouldn't have too many things to carry. So favoured right?
We went to 真北平餐厅 for dinner. Wasn't the most impressive but we just wanted to have dinner at a good restaurant.

And after a long day, we headed back to the hotel and packed up for the next day as we will be heading back to Kaoshiung 高雄 via Tainan 台南。
