好玩好吃好買2014 - 第三天 (HK Day 3!!!)

Day 3 was one of the days I was truly looking forward to because it consist of Tim Ho Wan and...

DISNEYLAND!!!

I didn't think I mind that I haven't been to Disneyland for the past twenty over years which I lived on Planet Earth but it was a paradise not to be missed, because regardless of age, everyone deserves to relive their childhood at least once.

But before all the fun installed for the day, we needed to feed our tummies with...

TIM HO WAN!!!

Tim Ho Wan at Sham Shui Po

All the delectable food we had at Tim Ho Wan!!!

Our bill

We ordered a whole table filled of food and yet our bill only came up to HKD$331 (~ SGD $54) which meant it cost about SGD $13.50 each person! Totally worth all the good food which we enjoyed.

And with that, we walked towards the station to train to DISNEYLAND!!!

From Sham Shui Po Station

Interchanged at Sunny Bay to DISNEYLAND RESORT STATION!!!

Off we go!
Look at how cute the handles are!

Arrived!
This is DISNEYLAND RESORT!
The ride from Sham Shui Po to Disneyland Resort took us about half an hour.

Tickets counter
Getting tickets to enter this dreamland I have been waiting for...

We didn't get any discounts for the Disneyland Tickets but I thought it was still worth it after all! An adult 1 day entrance ticket costs HKD $450 (~SGD $73). It would probably have been worth researching and getting discounted tickets beforehand.

Oh well, in we go!

Taxi anybody?

Such a pretty cup!

First thrilling ride we took!

Oooooo.... still glad I went on that ride, it was more surprising than I thought it would be, of course I wouldn't say it wasn't at all scary for me, but what is an amusement park encounter without at least one AWESOME ride?

The outside portion of the ride
Next up was Mystic Point, which was newly opened about a year ago on 17 May. We went on the Mystic Manor which was a dark ride where we were invited into the world of Lord Henry Mystic and his monkey Albert. (No photo reference)

And soon after we were at Toy Story Land, which was opened end of year 2011.

And we attempted the Toy Soldier Parachute Drop, which was actually quite an average ride of simply ascending and descending. Thank God we avoided the long queue time since we were opened to single riders and we didn't mind being separated as a group. I believe this "jump queue" saved us a lot of time.

Then my friends went for the RC Racer, which was a U-shaped coaster, zooming at high speed. I didn't gather enough courage for that, so I gave it a miss while they went on this thrilling ride.

My friends went on these.. while I checked out the:

TOILETS!!! (how cute are the wordings?!)
And just while we were leaving Toy Story Land, we managed to grab a photo with Woody!!!

And soon after we were at Fantasy Land, first caught a 3-D (or 4-D actually, inclusive of smell and touch) musical bursting with amazement with Maestro Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and pals. Then we were at Fantasy Garden where we stayed for quite a while waiting to grab a photo shoot with Minnie, Winnie the Pooh, Mickey, Pluto and Groofy.

Look at how sweet Minnie and Mickey were...

Then we proceeded to Mad Hatter Tea Cups, fully enjoying the spin in the cup! And we went into It's a Small World to see the world in a few minutes.

With that, we proceeded to Tomorrowland, where the first thing we were attracted to was these cute ice cream in the shape of Minnie and Mickey!

Ice Cream time!
Mickey was chocolate flavour and Minnie was fruity flavour.
I personally preferred the pink ice cream better, found that the chocolate taste was not so strong for the pink one.

And we went on Orbitron - piloting our own rocket jet and spinning planets high in the sky.

Then Ms. Y and Mr. N went for the Space Mountain ride which was a indoor roller coaster in the dark and since Ms. W does not really take dark rides very well, we both went to play Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters.

After which we reunited and went on the Main Street of USA to enjoy this cute Mickey waffle which cost us HKD $50 (~SGD $8); definitely a little costly but it was so cute that we could not resist having it.

We ended our Disneyland adventures shopping at the shops looking for souvenirs to buy for either ourselves or our loved ones.
