Winter in Korea 2019: Day 7: Seoul (Last Day of 2019)

We were thankful that we could get an extension to check out at 3pm so we headed out to a few spots before we leave Seoul today. Since Sinseol-dong is part of the Line 2, we were aiming to take direct line to Samseong. The line stopped at Seongsu and we didn't know we were supposed to transfer to another platform to be on the same line. We ended up on the line towards City Hall, and we alighted at Wangsimni station. When we were transiting, we noticed this bakery (and considering that we were hungry), we bought this yummy garlic bread! Such a good Garlic Bread (with cheese and egg) - at 3900 won Then we went on our way to Seolleung station to change to Samseong station. Follow the signage to lead you to COEX mall COEX Mall COEX Library Then we took the train to Passing by Han River Commonground Pretty Rainbow Cakes   Once we were done exploring Common Ground, we headed to a cafe (Daelim Changgo)

We started the day grabbing breakfast along the way and thankful that there is an Isaac Toast within walking distance from where we stay. Isaac Toast - Sinseol-dong Menu Nearest to Exit 11 of the station We were meeting Ms J and her sister at 10am so we decided to eat at the train station (yes, it is alright to eat at the train station, just remember to clean up after yourselves). Meeting our friends at Gyeongbokgung station I ordered the Bulgogi mvp Ms P ordered the Bacon & Cheese muffin Tasty breakfast, even though we didn't eat it straight away but it still tasted good.  Exit 4 of Gyeongbokgung station We went to rent hanbok! They were having good promotion so it cost us 14,900won for 4 hours rental (inclusive of hairdo). It was freezing cold and drizzling so we had to run from shelter to shelter.  Then we went for lunch. (yes, in our hanbok).  Apparently it is Michelin-starred restaurant.
