好玩好吃好買2014 - 最后一天 (HK Last Day!!!)

Well there is not much scheduled for today, but just our flight back to Singapore! Before we went to the gates, we decided to settle our breakfast first since we wouldn't be getting any food on the plane.

Our breakfast

My breakfast
And eventually it was time to depart and proceed to the gates. I was actually quite excited to see the airport DEPARTURES as I have always seen it in the dramas and I'll finally get to see it for real!

Come Home Love Episode 480
DEPARTURES: Home Bound!
Our plane
We were so tired that we all knocked out upon boarding the plane that we hardly noticed that the plane had delayed jetting off by 20 minutes. And it was such a smooth flight that most of us slept throughout and the landing was so well down that it was hardly noticeable. And best thing was, we landed on time even though the plane didn't depart on time. I would definitely fly with Scoot again, the seats were so much more comfortable!

And that pretty much marks the end of our 5D5N holidays!!!

Here is our itinerary in a snapshot:

Kind advice: Do not change HKD $1000 notes because most places do not accept these notes anymore. Our exchange rates were 6.14 instead of the state 6.15 because we did away with the HKD $1000 notes but we found it worth because we didn't have trouble paying with the smaller notes we had.

Please feel free to comment if you have any questions on itinerary for Hong Kong.

Special thanks to Ms. W, Ms. Y and her boyfriend Ms. D for making this virgin trip to Hong Kong so filled with fun and memorable! This was the first time I traveled with a group of 4 rather than in twos. Of course, with a bigger group, it was expected to be more waiting time, waiting time for the toilet, waiting time for each other while shopping, and differences in some things we may want to do. But through this trip, we have learnt that it is okay to separate if we have different agendas, and we will meet back at a set time after we dismiss to do what we had wanted to do. And the best thing about traveling in 4, especially in Hong Kong, was that it made our cab ride more worthwhile and it also enabled us to try a lot more food because we could order lots and share. Through such a trip like this, we also learnt more about each other and we have listed each other as ideal travel companions! Looking forward to our next trip (hopefully next year...)! And thank God for seeing us through our differences and for always placing us at the right place at the right time so that we can enjoy the trip to the max!~
