This was our last FULL day in Hong Kong!
We had initially scheduled to explore
Lamma Island today but due to certain circumstances, well mainly because we were all pretty drained out and exhausted from the past few days that we decided to sleep in a little more and so we decided to do away with
Lamma Island.
Honestly, even though we had only roughly planned out what we were going to do on the day itself, but it turned out to be one of the most relaxing and exciting day for us.
Everyone had a piece of Hong Kong which we had wanted to experience again and that was how we went about with our last FULL day in Hong Kong.
We had missed the 11am shuttle bus so we ended up cabbing to our Brunch place instead.
First stop: Ms. W wanted to eat Dim Sum again and so I suggested One Dim Sum which I remembered through memory being one of the places recommended by my friends but I was not able to fit it into the itinerary previously... Do not be put off by the long queue, kindly walk over to the waitress and ask roughly how long the waiting time is and if it is reasonable (we were told 1/2 hour), collect the ticket and wait patiently for the number to be called.

We had totally forgotten that it was a weekend and we were surprised to find a long queue outside the restaurant. But fortunately we didn't give up queuing and eventually after patiently waiting for half and hour, we were welcomed into the paradise of Dim Sum!

Definitely coming back again each time I step foot into Hong Kong in future!!! Satisfied our Dim Sum cravings, we headed to Prince Edward MTR Station (the restaurant is nearest to Exit A) to get over to the other side (Exit to get our souvenirs for our loved ones. There is a SASA right next to it.

There is a saying, do what the Romans do when you are in Rome, and as such we decided to sit by their herbal tea shop (which was just right opposite the Kee Wah Bakery) to drink their herbal tea. And another reason was because by the fifth day in Hong Kong, Ms. W and I were already down with throat infection and Ms. W have already lost her voice.
After a good cup of herbal tea, Ms. W seemed to have even recovered partial of her voice...
And since we missed the Pineapple Buns at Kim Wah Cafe and we were just around the corner, we decided to take away a few pieces to reminisce the good taste.
This time we simply went to the takeaway store next door to takeaway the Pineapple Buns.
We then walked back to Prince Edward MTR station and took the train to Mong Kok MTR station to get to another famous Wife Biscuit selling shop - Hang Heang from Exit E1.

Since the Wife Biscuits from Han Heang were a little fragile, we decided to cab back to our hotel to place our souvenirs down first.
As Ms. Y had wanted to get an Esprit bag which she has first found on our second day in Hong Kong which she did not buy then, and even seeing a few other Esprit shop which did not offer the bag she had wanted with the same discount, we headed back to Tsim Sha Tsui Espirit Outlet to get the bag and the three of us ended up getting one bag each, different colours.

It was not difficult to decide on our last dinner menu in Hong Kong as Mr. D wanted the Char Siew from Joy Hing Roasted Meat again so we headed back to Wan Chai to have dinner there once again.

Nearest Wan Chai MTR station exit to Honolulu Cafe is
Exit A4. We had to pack it back to our hotel to eat because we were too stuffed from our dinner. And as such, it didn't taste as good as it was claimed to be. Oh well, I'll come back on my next trip to eat it on the spot to do it justice.
Then eventually it was back to hotel to pack luggage and after we were all done with our packing, we sat on the carpets of our hotel room to finish up the food we have bought. And since we stayed opposite MacDonalds' and we have been seeing it since the first day we arrived, we could not help but get one of the Mac meal also... and we don't regret it because they have one of the BEST FRIES we have ever eaten!

Portuguese Egg Tarts from Macau |
Just have to specially mention this Portuguese Egg Tarts from Macau. Macau was also one of the places we were considering going on our trip but after deep considerations, we have decided not to go Macau either. And honestly, one of the only things that I was interested in if we ever made it to Macau was the all famous Portuguese Egg Tarts. Ms. W's friend who came to visit her from Macau yesterday specially hand delivered and had very nicely bought some for us to share. But we were bloated yesterday to eat it, but even after more than 24 hours, this egg tart still taste like it had just came freshly from the oven. Special mention to Ms. W's friend that we got to try this toothsome egg tarts! And I thank God for knowing that I had wanted to try these egg tarts and made it easy that we didn't even have to travel to Macau to enjoy it, so blessed!
After staying up to talk for quite a while, we finally caught a wink for about 2 hours before waking up to prepare for our flight back to Singapore.
