Circuit Breaker w Rainbow // #1 // Waffles

Singapore has begun Circuit Breaker from 7 Apr and I think I have finally decided to see what I can get out of my hands in this period.


#1 Waffles

I started to want different menus for breakfast and so I started exploring the possibility of having waffles. First off, I'll need a waffle maker. So where best to get yourself a waffle maker but... ONLINE! I went on Shopee and searched for waffle maker and got myself one delivered to my place!

I got a really mini one partly because I like my waffles tiny and also considering storage space.

                                              

Then I headed to Phoon Huat to get Golden Waffle Mix and unsalted butter.

                                                

Ingredients

Ingredients: 
250g Golden Waffle Mix
300ml Fresh Milk
25g Unsalted Butter

Steps: 
1. Mix them all evenly together. 
2. Pour the mixture on the waffle maker. (Be careful how you open the waffle maker machine - use a glove or protective measures.)

With that quantity, we made 12 mini waffles successfully 

                                           


12 waffles!!!


I cut up some bananas and had these yummy waffles for breakfast!

First HOLIDAY of 2018 ~ HONG KONG DAY 4 - Day Trip to Shunde 顺德

And we're at Day 4 of our trip. And finally we're travelling out of HK!!!  If you were to ask if for my favourite highlight for the trip, it would have to be Shunde 顺德. We didn't get much done in a day but the whole feel of the city is one that I like. Their pace is not as rushed as Hong Kong and it seems that the people appreciate life better. How to get tickets to Shunde 顺德?  We bought our tickets from China Travel Services, but I believe you may be able to get the tickets online too. We had to pay an admin fee of 12 HKD when we purchase our tickets through China Travel Services. One way ticket to Shunde will cost HKD 240 each (~SGD41). The ferry timings are 8.30am , 9.30am , 11.00am , 3.00pm and 6.00pm . We departed our hotel at about 7.15am, took the cab to China HK City, which took us just 15 mins ride from our hotel. Winter in Korea 2019: Day 7: Seoul (Last Day of 2019)

We were thankful that we could get an extension to check out at 3pm so we headed out to a few spots before we leave Seoul today. Since Sinseol-dong is part of the Line 2, we were aiming to take direct line to Samseong. The line stopped at Seongsu and we didn't know we were supposed to transfer to another platform to be on the same line. We ended up on the line towards City Hall, and we alighted at Wangsimni station. When we were transiting, we noticed this bakery (and considering that we were hungry), we bought this yummy garlic bread! Such a good Garlic Bread (with cheese and egg) - at 3900 won Then we went on our way to Seolleung station to change to Samseong station. Follow the signage to lead you to COEX mall COEX Mall COEX Library Then we took the train to Passing by Han River Commonground Pretty Rainbow Cakes   Once we were done exploring Common Ground, we headed to a cafe (Daelim Changgo)
