Dream Come True 2013 - Day 7 in Korea - Seoul (Last Day) - (16 Dec 2013, Monday)

The day we both did not want to come because it means we would be leaving Korea and our holiday was ending and it was back to reality.

Last meal in Seoul
We slept in a little longer and we had our brunch at a nearby restaurant to where we were staying before proceeding to the airport. We were a good 3 hours earlier than our flight so we had time to spare in the airport.

We caught a quick glimpse of people strolling in Hanbok, giving a nice Korean cultural experience.

Even the rice on the plane was nice!

Flight experience was great and the 6 hours flight passed quickly as I was watching the Heirs on my journey back to Singapore...

And we're at Day 4 of our trip. And finally we're travelling out of HK!!!  If you were to ask if for my favourite highlight for the trip, it would have to be Shunde 顺德. We didn't get much done in a day but the whole feel of the city is one that I like. Their pace is not as rushed as Hong Kong and it seems that the people appreciate life better. How to get tickets to Shunde 顺德?  We bought our tickets from China Travel Services, but I believe you may be able to get the tickets online too. We had to pay an admin fee of 12 HKD when we purchase our tickets through China Travel Services. One way ticket to Shunde will cost HKD 240 each (~SGD41). The ferry timings are 8.30am , 9.30am , 11.00am , 3.00pm and 6.00pm . We departed our hotel at about 7.15am, took the cab to China HK City, which took us just 15 mins ride from our hotel. Dream Come True 2013 - Day 1 (of 7) in Korea - Jeju-do (10 Dec 2013, Tuesday)

After procrastinating for a good one month after returning from this all-time favourite trip of my life (well at least up until 2013), I have FINALLY settled down to blog about it... When I was researching for my trip, I was very thankful for the travel bloggers who blog about their trips so we can have handy tips and advise for people planning their trips abroad, especially to places they would be visiting for the first time. And that was what also inspired me to start this blog. Well, where does the story begin? This was sparked off by my uncle's girlfriend (p.s. my uncle is not old, just for the record, something which I think his girlfriend is very insistent because apparently in the natural world, many people would assume uncles are like 30 plus 40, so he is just 7 years older than me, not yet in his 30s). Winter in Korea 2019: Day 7: Seoul (Last Day of 2019)

We were thankful that we could get an extension to check out at 3pm so we headed out to a few spots before we leave Seoul today. Since Sinseol-dong is part of the Line 2, we were aiming to take direct line to Samseong. The line stopped at Seongsu and we didn't know we were supposed to transfer to another platform to be on the same line. We ended up on the line towards City Hall, and we alighted at Wangsimni station. When we were transiting, we noticed this bakery (and considering that we were hungry), we bought this yummy garlic bread! Such a good Garlic Bread (with cheese and egg) - at 3900 won Then we went on our way to Seolleung station to change to Samseong station. Follow the signage to lead you to COEX mall COEX Mall COEX Library Then we took the train to Passing by Han River Commonground Pretty Rainbow Cakes   Once we were done exploring Common Ground, we headed to a cafe (Daelim Changgo)
